NST‑H8 · 9‑axis intelligent painting robot
Eight years in development. A gantry‑mounted 9‑axis arm with AI vision that batch‑sprays car bodies, bumpers, doors and fenders in existing booths, and applies liquid car‑wrap film as well as paint.
Nine axes on a gantry, guided by AI
The H8's articulated arm rides a gantry above the workpiece, with nine axes of motion to follow body curves and reach panels a fixed sprayer can't. AI vision tracks the work; obstacle avoidance is designed to keep the arm clear of parts, fixtures and booth structure.
- AI computer vision
- Real-time obstacle avoidance
- 8-axis interlinked motion control
- Tuned spray parameters per paint system
Built for the booth you already run
- Batch loading
Load doors, bumpers and fenders together and spray them in a single run.
- Less toxic exposure
The robot handles the coating pass inside the booth so painters spend less time in fumes and overspray.
- Fits existing booths
NST installs into existing paint booths with no major structural changes.
- Buy it or lease it
Own the system outright or lease it to keep the investment light. In customer operations to date, added spraying revenue has typically covered the cost within a year.

Vehicle model and trajectory library
Access 500+ vehicle models with ready spray trajectories from the NST cloud library.
On‑site trajectory generation
The robot scans the workpiece and generates the spray trajectory on the spot. No manual teaching, no pre‑made path.
Cloud trajectory service
Upload a 3D model to the NST cloud and receive a production‑ready spray trajectory back within 4 hours.
No software upgrade fees
Receive system improvements and new software features without recurring upgrade fees.
24/7 support and training
NST provides hands-on training, tutorials and 24/7 support so your team can keep the robot running with confidence after purchase.
Three steps to a finished coat
Position
Place the vehicle or parts in the spray cell and secure the work area for the run.
Scan
The vision system scans the body or parts, then matches the vehicle model and spray trajectory.
Spray
The 9-axis arm follows the trajectory with tuned spray parameters for a consistent finish.
NST‑H8, on paper
Core parameters of the gantry‑mounted system. It runs on single‑phase 220 V, the supply a body shop already has.
Reference process: BASF waterborne paint, wet‑on‑wet, at 25 °C booth temperature. Full documentation available on request.
Certified for the booth environment
A paint booth is an explosive atmosphere, and the H8 is engineered for it: explosion‑protected arm and servo motors with a purge‑pressurized enclosure, certified by NEPSI, China's national explosion‑protection test authority, and verified to EN IEC 60079‑0 for the EU.
Certifications issued 2025, valid through 2030, covering NST‑D7 and NST‑H8 systems. Certificate copies are available to qualified buyers on request.
